Mission Statement

Needingworth Community Pre-school aims to provide the best possible start for all children within its care. It seeks to provide a safe, secure, stimulating and enabling environment where our children can feel confident to explore, have fun and learn through their play. As a setting we are passionate about the power of play providing the building blocks to support our children to become independent and resilient citizens of the future.

Our children are valued and respected for their own unique experiences, interests, ideas, thoughts and opinions. We recognise the importance of the child’s voice, supporting and developing communication and language skills for all our children.

We recognise that parents play a key part in their child’s learning journey and we strive to work in close partnership with them. Seeking their active participation and support to ensure that their child can reach their full potential.

A long-established partnership with Holywell Church of England Primary school offers extended experiences for all our children to engage in. Individually tailored transition enables children to move into what has become a familiar environment, where they continue to thrive as they begin their journey into school.

Vision Statement

The Pre-schools future vision is to continue to offer a high-quality provision to the local and surrounding community. We welcome and respect all families, valuing and promoting diversity and inclusion throughout our practice. As a team we strive to continue to provide an outstanding practice that we have provided for many years.
